Apple Halts AI Feature Rollout Amid Complaints

Apple has paused the rollout of a new artificial intelligence (AI) feature following criticism and complaints about its repeated errors in summarising news headlines.

The tech giant faced growing pressure to withdraw the service, which sent notifications that seemed to originate from news organisations’ apps.

“We are working on improvements and will include them in a future software update,” an Apple spokesperson confirmed.
