Heathrow Airport’s £49bn Expansion Plans Explained

Heathrow Airport in London has revealed details of its expansion plans to expand and modernise at a staggering cost of £49bn!

The airport considers the work ‘urgent’ believing it will soon reach capacity for passengers. The UK government has backed plans for a third runway, with Chancellor Rachel Reeves saying it would “make Britain the world’s best connected place to do business”.

The plans include a new terminal, new runway, security measures and better connected rail facilities.
