Toll consideration for Clyde Tunnel

Glasgow City Council is still considering introducing a driver congestion charge and toll for the Clyde Tunnel.

The council previously warned in 2023 that a funding shortfall could lead to charges for drivers, but only for those living outside the city.

Now, Transport Scotland has suggested the council could take the lead in rolling out new schemes such as congestion charges.
