Two men have been arrested and charged following a firearms police response to an incident at a tower block in South Lanarkshire.
Specialist officers were deployed to Calder Tower on Mount Cameron Drive South, East Kilbride, on Sunday.
Police Scotland reported that the men, both aged 48, were arrested at 13:20 in connection with a “disturbance” at the property. Two knives were recovered from the scene.
No injuries were reported. Officers will remain in the area as inquiries continue.
The men are expected to appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court later.
