Car Accident in Hamilton: Woman Hospitalized

A woman was taken to hospital after being struck by a car in Hamilton this morning.

Police responded to the incident on Carlisle Road at around 7:35 am, closing the road for approximately two hours while emergency services attended the scene.

A police spokesperson said: “At around 7:35 am on Tuesday, 11 February, we received a report of a woman being hit by a car. The female pedestrian was transported to University Hospital Wishaw, and enquiries are ongoing.”
