Man Arrested for Hamilton Fatal Road Traffic Offence

A 35-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a fatal road crash in Hamilton last year.

The unnamed man was taken into custody on suspicion of road traffic offences.

The incident occurred on Sunday, 27 October 2024, at around 00:40 on Quarry Street, Hamilton. Emergency services responded, but 70-year-old pedestrian James Craig was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police investigations are ongoing, and officers are urging anyone with information to come forward.
