Uddingston is amongst several banks to close this year in the greater Glasgow area .
Banks in Alexandria, Barrhead, Bishopbriggs, Kirkintilloch, Helensburgh and Uddingston are among 136 high street branches that will shut across the UK.
This is part of Lloyds’ plan to reduce costs and digitise the bank.
The closures will take place between May this year and March 2026.
