An Uddingston hairdresser has achieved a remarkable milestone by securing a prestigious accolade at a major industry awards ceremony.
Suzie McGill, the international artistic director of Rainbow Room International, was honoured with the title of Hairdresser of the Year at the Fellowship for British Hairdressing Awards.
Expressing her delight, the Uddingston salon owner described the win at last month’s event as leaving her “over the moon.” The award marked the culmination of a highly successful year filled with professional achievements and recognition.
The London-based ceremony also celebrated other members of Rainbow Room International, with academy director Laura Leigh Kerr receiving the titles of Educator of the Year and Community Hero Award winner.
