McTaggart Construction and Ravenscraig Limited have submitted a new planning application to North Lanarkshire Council for a residential development and 14,500 square feet of retail space on the former Ravenscraig steelworks site.
The plans include the construction of 48 affordable homes on Prospecthill Road. Additionally, McTaggart Construction proposes establishing a neighbourhood retail hub in the south-east corner of the site, featuring commercial units and the potential for a drive-through facility.
