Lynx Spotted in Highlands: Public Warning Issued

The public has been warned to avoid approaching two lynx spotted roaming in the Highlands.

Police received reports of the sightings in the Drumguish area near Kingussie at around 4:20 pm on Wednesday. Specially trained staff from the Highland Wildlife Park are working with officers to locate the animals.

It has been confirmed that the lynx are not from the nearby wildlife park, and investigations are ongoing to determine how they came to be in the area.
