Detectives are appealing for information after a vehicle was set on fire in the Larkhall area.
At around 3.30am on Saturday, 9 August, 2025, we received a report of a car on fire on Glen Avenue
Emergency services attended and the fire was extinguished by Scottish Fire and Rescue Service.
There were no injuries reported and the fire is being treated as suspicious
Detective Constable Ross Meldrum from Lanarkshire CID said: “We are appealing to anyone that may have seen anything suspicious that morning to get in touch.
“Anyone with doorbell or dash-cam footage should check to see if they have captured anything.
“If you have any information please contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting 0495 of Saturday, 9 August or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
