Driver Injured on Clydeside Expressway

36-year-old woman has been injured after her car flipped onto its roof on Glasgow’s Clydeside Expressway this morning.

Emergency crews rushed to the scene near the footbridge by the Clydeside Distillery shortly before 9am. The driver was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.

Police closed the busy dual carriageway in both directions while emergency services dealt with the incident. The road reopened around 11:40am.

Investigations into the cause of the crash are ongoing.
