It’s the weekend. Showers will fizzle out on Friday with a good deal of sunshine across Lanarkshire on Friday evening.

Tomorrow, Saturday will be cloudy with heavy, thundery outbreaks of showery rain through the day. By the evening, it will turn drier with late sunny spells and some lingering light showers.

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday

Sunday will be mainly cloudy, with just a few sunny breaks and light showers moving in from the west throughout the day. Monday looks to be mainly cloudy once again. A few spells of light rain will move in from the west. Turning overcast and wet overnight into Tuesday. Rain clearing to sunny spells later in the day. Breezy throughout.
