M8 Closure Near Glasgow Airport Causes Major Delays

A police incident early this morning led to the closure of both directions of the M8 motorway near Glasgow Airport, causing significant traffic disruptions. 

The closure, which began around 5:40 AM on Saturday 7th June, was due to concerns for a woman’s safety on Renfrew Road in Paisley. She was taken to the hospital for assessment, and the motorway has since reopened
