Police Charge Three Men After Douglas Death

Three men have been swiftly arrested and charged in connection with the death of a man in Douglas, South Lanarkshire.

Joe Buchanan, 35, was pronounced dead at the scene following an incident on Springhill Street at around 8:35pm on Sunday, 13 April.

Police launched a murder investigation, describing the incident as “targeted”. The suspects, aged 21, 40 and 41, are expected to appear at Airdrie Sheriff Court on Tuesday.
