E-Cigarettes Stolen in Dumfries: Police Seek Information

March 1, 2025

Hundreds of e-cigarettes have been stolen from a lorry parked in a layby in Dumfries and Galloway.

A group of men confronted the driver as the vehicle was stationary on the A75, between the B7020 and B721 near the Annan West junction, at around 22:45 on Thursday.

They forced open the lorry and stole 27 pallets of e-cigarettes before fleeing the scene.

Although the driver was physically unharmed, he was left badly shaken. Police have launched an appeal for information.

Detective Constable Jim Kirkpatrick said officers were reviewing CCTV from the area and urged any motorists with dashcam footage to come forward.
