Dundee Explosion: Wall Collapses at Electricity Sub-Station

A wall has collapsed following an explosion at an electricity sub-station in Dundee city centre.

The incident occurred near the Overgate Centre at around 10:40, with no injuries reported.

Emergency services remain at the scene, which has been cordoned off.

Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks (SSEN) attributed the explosion to a “significant equipment failure.”
