A brand new Multi Million pound supermarket has opened in Blantyre, South Lanarkshire.
LIDL, after demolishing their old store, constructed a new, larger store on a larger footprint, adding many more products for shoppers, EV chargers and better facilities.
The store opened yesterday with Blantyre’s Isabella Kusz, a lucky 7 year old cutting the ribbon. Local football teams also supported the event as the store opened at 8am on Thursday 13th February 2025.
The store has been much anticipated in Blantyre and surrounding towns and has met with excellent feedback from shoppers who made their way their on the first day.
