Stuart Kettlewell has stepped down as manager of Motherwell, with the Scottish Premiership club stating that the 40-year-old cited personal abuse he had endured during a recent slump in results as the reason for his resignation.
Motherwell’s board of directors, representing the fan-owned club, announced they had “very reluctantly accepted” his decision to leave.
