From August, South Lanarkshire Council will extend free school meals to ALL S1–S3 pupils from families receiving the Scottish Child Payment.
This move is part of a pilot across eight council areas, secured by the Scottish Greens during recent budget negotiations.
The campaign highlights the essential link between nourishment and learning—and is expected to benefit thousands of families.
