Some world news today. Several Tesla vehicles have been targeted and set on fire in a Tesla Service centre in Las Vegas today.
The FBI arrived on the scene following the bout of vandalism. The arson incident unfolded around 2.45am. Elon Musk was quick to put up on his social media platform ‘x’ that the incident amounted to ‘terrorism’.
“Communications received information that an individual had set several vehicles on fire in the parking lot and caused damage to the property,” said the Metropolitan Police Department.
As Tesla’s stock price slides further this week, losing more than 40% of its company value since January, it appears the market and consumers are reacting to Musk’s controversial and politically charged antics in recent months.
