Water Main Burst Causes Flooding in Glasgow

February 2, 2025

Homes and businesses have been left without water, and streets have been flooded after a water main burst in Glasgow’s south side.

Scottish Water confirmed that properties in the G41, G42, G43, and G44 postcode areas, including Shawlands and Strathbungo, are experiencing disruptions to their water supply.

In a statement, Scottish Water said: “We are investigating reports of supply issues and will provide updates as soon as more information becomes available.

“We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.”
