A utility company has applied to North Lanarkshire Council for permission to expand parking facilities at a Bellshill hotel by installing electric vehicle charging bays.
Ionity, a Germany-based firm operating a charging network across 24 countries, has proposed adding 24 EV charging bays and associated infrastructure at the DoubleTree by Hilton on Phoenix Crescent in Strathclyde Business Park.
The proposal would mean available EV charging bays being added to the existing capability in Lanarkshire.
