Major Drugs Bust in Motherwell

On December 31, 2024, around 7 pm, Police Scotland executed a search warrant at a premises on Hamilton Road, Motherwell. Officers seized cocaine with an estimated street value of £105,000. A 26-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the recovery. He remains in custody and is expected to appear in court today, January 3, 2025.

Sergeant Steven Brown stated: “Drugs cause misery in our communities, and the public has an important role to play in helping Police Scotland target those responsible for the sale and supply of illegal substances.”

Police Scotland encourages anyone with information or concerns about drug activity in their area to contact them on 101 or reach out to Crimestoppers anonymously at 0800 555 111.
