TRNSMT Festival may Adjust Dates for Scotland’s World Cup Matches

December 22, 2025

TRNSMT organisers are considering more flexible stage schedules next year so fans can still catch Scotland’s World Cup matches.

The discussion follows confirmation that the Glasgow Green festival, traditionally held in July, will move to June 19–21. Organisers say the date change reflects the event’s “ongoing development”.

However, the new dates coincide with one of Scotland’s group-stage games at the 2026 World Cup, which will be hosted across the USA, Canada and Mexico.
